Real Coast and Surf

Real Coast and Surf

We spent a night on a secluded black sand beach, tucked away in a quiet town with minimal connectivity to the outside world. Real, Quezon, a surfing spot located three hours east of Manila, aptly bears the name of the town itself.

Summer days in this area are dedicated to basking in the bright, hot sun, lounging in the sand, and seeking refuge in the cabanas that line the coast. With snacks packed in our knapsacks, we stop for swims, reading sessions, and beachside picnics throughout the day.

Dig your toes into the sand, soak them in the sea water, and feel the warmth envelop you. Stretch out on a towel by the shoreline, immerse yourself in a book, lounge on beach chairs, take refreshing dips in the clear waters, surf the waves, rinse off in the shower, and repeat.

As the day’s activities wind down, we gather in the bean bag area for a late-night film screening. Grabbing some drinks, engaging in light conversation, we eventually bid the day goodbye.
