We spent a night here in a black sand beach hidden in a secluded town, with little to no signal to the outer world. Located three hours east of Manila is a surfing spot named aptly as the town itself in Real, Quezon.
Summer days around here are spent in the bright, hot sun floundering in the sand and curtain covered cabanas along the coast. With snacks packed in knapsacks, stop in for swims and reading and picnics at the beach all day long.
Dig out some sand, soak it in sea water, smother it on you. Lie out on a towel on the shoreline, read a book, bake on the beach chairs, take a dip in the clear waters, surf, shower, feel good, repeat.
After the day activities, come together in the bean bag area for some late night film showing. Grab some drinks, have little chitchats, and call it a day.
