After having dinner at Skinny Mike’s, I craved for something sweet and dainty (yes, to please both my taste and visual senses) so we drove off to the newly-opened BGC branch of Stacy’s which is located just around Burgos Circle.
Price Range: Php 200-300/head
Upon entrance, one will notice that every corner whispers sweet, neat, and vintage.
The whole setup of the restaurant makes you feel like you’re inside a doll house.
Complete with mini balcony perfect for kids’ tea party!
And for the sweet tooth peeps out there, an enticing jar of butter balls will tease you.
And this pink cabinet of condiments located in the second floor will make you want to have your own cabinet at home painted pink. It’s just so adorable!
Since the reason we went here is for desserts, let me share to you our two orders. First is the Choco Lava cake with Vanilla ice cream (Php 145), which was a perfect mixture of hot and cold. The base cake is moist and gooey, chocolate lovers will ultimately love this.
Then comes my order: a slice of Sansrival (Php 135). It’s not chewy, not too sweet, and the creme is not rough as compared to some sansrivals. I loved it! Will definitely go back for more!
Look at the display, they have other cakes and even eclairs, as well!
Before we left, they gave us some sweets as a treat –the teaser earlier: butter balls! Yay!
The menu and interiors have been carefully thought of to cater everyone’s sweet spot and most especially, the nostalgic era of the 60’s. I’ll definitely come back for more. Next time, I’ll try their meals. I’ve checked the menu and they have limited options, though. But I hope the main course meals are as good as their desserts.
