Established in 1939, the Kamuning Bakery has withstand 14 Philippine president terms and countless storms that hit Metro Manila. It takes pride in its famous breads, with celebrities and politicians alike visiting the place to have a taste of their favorites breads.
Standing for 74 years, the pre-war bakery has proved to be coping with the times and continues to deliver goods that will be fail-proof to the current generation’s taste buds.
Pan de Suelo, one of their bestsellers, was said to be a favorite of one of their patrons, none other than the late President Corazon Aquino.
Kamuning Bakery still retains their old school use of pugon on baking their products.
Their products include: Pan De Bomba (Php 4), Pan De Keso (Php 4.50), Egg pie (Php 20), and more.
My favorite from their bunch of goodies: Oatmeal Cookies.
At first look, their Oatmeal Cookies (Php 35) seem over baked but first bite and you’ll feel the butter melting and the bits of nuts engulfing your tastebuds.
I would definitely love to come back.
